After the speech of the nation’s chief executive, the president of the Party Generation Servers (GenS), Carlos Peña, assured that “we are before the Government of the reverse change”.
The presidential candidate, during a speech broadcast through his YouTube account: Carlos Peña RD, countered various aspects of the speech of the President of the Republic.
In this sense, he attacked the level of national indebtedness: “This government has taken more than 21 billion dollars in just two years. This is equivalent to 1,600 million pesos every day”.
“So that we understand it much more explicitly: at the end of this day, August 16, you and I will have a debt increased by 1,600 million pesos, thanks to the Government of the reverse exchange”, he pointed out.
Likewise, he highlighted the corruption scandals that have occurred with officials of the current government train, considering the fight against corruption as a hoax.
“The Government of the reverse exchange has lied to the Dominican population regarding the fight against corruption, it promised a transparent Government, and this PRM administration has been so little transparent, that only 2 years more than 40 officials of the highest level of this administrative management have had to resign or be removed from their posts for acts of corruption; corruption that, it was announced to this people, would not exist in the Government of the reverse change”, he stressed.
Regarding what Abinader stated regarding the electrical issue, the political leader, who is also an expert engineer in the field of electrical energy, stated that: “The Government of the reverse gear could not lie anymore when it spoke of the energy sector, that sector where To you: Dominican, in just 5 months the price of the electricity rate that you have to pay each month has increased by more than 25 million dollars.”
In turn, he stated that “they cannot show any progress, but quite the opposite: real setback in terms of citizen security.”
“They cannot talk about the promises made to our military bodies, the armed forces and the National Police; of the salary increase, to adapt it to the international norms of income of these military and police forces, ”he added.
Peña asserted that in terms of social security, the president did not have a single achievement on this issue; “Well, our people are still looking for health, health that the ARS deny them. Our people are still looking for pensions, pensions that our fund administrators or AFPs are denying them.”
He also highlighted that “the Government has been unable to reverse change; to guarantee real security in our land border lines and in our maritime border lines and areas”.
Likewise, he pointed out that the basic basket has had a disproportionate increase; “Reducing at the same time the value of the salary of Dominicans with this uncontrollable inflation; that this Reverse Shift Government has instilled in our nation,” he added.
Finally, he predicted that the Government does not have the capacity to fulfill its promises.
