The spokesperson for Podemos Peru, Charles Andersonquestioned the head of state, Pedro Castillo, for observing the autograph of the law on procedures to appoint ministers and deputy ministers, which was approved by Congress.
“This is a demonstration that the president has a wrong idea about what it means to run a State”, replied the legislator in dialogue with RPP.
After the observation of the Executive, now the text of the law was returned to the Legislature, which must evaluate if it accepts the Government’s suggestions or promulgates it through insistence.
For Anderson Ramírez, the idea of the head of state to designate the officials of his administration is not enough to achieve solutions to the requirements of citizenship.
“He really believes that it is enough for someone to come from the farm, who has knowledge of the problems, for it to be enough for him to provide solutions, and that is not the case.”, he indicated.
“He has been elected by popular will and there is no type of requirement beyond being over 35 years old, being Peruvian by birth, etc. But in the case of the officials who are going to manage the budget, they are going to lead sectors, of course we need the best”, he sentenced.
He added that “of course” the project returned to Congress will be approved by insistence because it had great support for its approval.
In the document sent by the Government, it warns, among others, that the autograph of the law “violates the principle of separation of powers” and “goes beyond the parameters of constitutionality”.
In addition, he criticized that the norm opposes the power of the President of the Republic to “direct and approve the general policy of the Government” and “restricts the right to the presumption of innocence”.
