Barranquilla Caimanschampion of the Professional Baseball League of Colombia and representative of the country in the Caribbean Series 2022achieved a historic victory on the night of Monday, January 31, by overcoming 2-1 to Gigantes del Cibao of the Dominican Republic.
With this victory, the Colombian ninth reached a record of three celebrations and one defeat, for which it ensured, for the first time in history, the classification to the semifinal round.

After the victory, the Colombian team secured in the semifinals of the Caribbean Series and cut an undefeated 15 wins to the Dominican organization.
This Tuesday, February 1, the first round of the Caribbean Series will end. Colombia will face the representative of Puerto Rico from 9:30 in the morning.
