Caribbean Airlines Limited (CAL) announced this Thursday, September 4, the temporary suspension of its air operations between Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela, throughout the month of September.
The Caribbean airline said that this decision came into effect immediately and affects both the Trinidad-Caracas route and the Caracas-Tinidad route.
The affected flights are the BW 300 and the BW 301, scheduled for September 6, 13, 20 and 27.
Cal indicated that it will contact the passengers who have already reserved these flights and that they can reserve, make changes and request reimbursement without additional expenses.

All changes must be made through the telephone reserves center of Caribbean Airlines or from the Caribbean Airlines ticket office.
The cancellation of flights on these routes occurs after the United States carried out an attack on Tuesday against a vessel allegedly used for drug trafficking, in the Caribbean, in which 11 people died.
In this context, the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamla Persad-Bissssar, expressed his satisfaction with the US attack against the vessel that Donald Trump’s government links to the Aragua train, and said that the US army should “violently” eliminate all drug traffickers.
For their part, the Venezuelan authorities rejected this version and described the images presented as manipulated material with artificial intelligence.
