Caracas was activated in all its parishes to renew the Ubch

The militancy of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in Caracas highlights an enthusiastic attendance in the election this Saturday to renew or ratify the heads of the Bolívar-Chávez Battle Units (UBCH).

The mayor of Caracas and head of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the capital region, Carmen Meléndez, described the election of the heads of the Bolívar-Chávez Battle Units throughout the national territory as a historic day.

«The parish 23 de Enero mobilized, exercising its right to vote to continue profoundly renewing the foundations of the @PartidoPSUVfollowing the guidelines that our President has given us,” Mayor Meléndez commented in a post through her Twitter account.

«We attended the elections of heads of the UBCH, in the Urb. José Félix Ribas, pqa. Saint Peter. These elections make up the socio-political structure that expresses the deep interest in continuing to grow as a country,” said the head of the Government of Caracas, Nahún Fernández.

In another post, he reviewed his visit to the Caricuao parish, in the Los Telares sector, from where he stressed that this electoral process means “the first step for the transformation of the economic, social and political reality of the Homeland.”

In a telephone contact with VTV, the PSUV militant Yelitza Bernal said that in this renewal process, which began with the elections of street and community bosses, the majority of young people and women in the Libertador municipality have come out.

He also described this process as an example of revolutionary and participatory democracy.

For his part, also in contact with VTV, the PSUV militant Joaquín Malavé said that in the municipality of Sucre there is great motivation for the election, and stressed that this process will recognize the work of the leaders of the UBCH.

He added that the process of renewing the bases of the PSUV is a participatory and leading democracy. “We are strengthening the UBCH with the vote of the communities,” he said.
