After the start of classes approached, this September 30, the mayor of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, inspected the rehabilitation of educational institutions in the Sucre parish, to welcome girls and boys in a comfortable space this new school year .
Among the schools visited by the capital authority, the Apacuana Initial Education Center, the Andrés Bello Initial Education Center, the Simoncito Bicentenario Gual y España, and the Antonio José de Sucre Educational Unit stand out. The Polita Initial Education Center of Lima, the Nelly Cuervo Initial Education Center of Guinand Baldó and the Dr. Luis Morquío Initial Education Center were also addressed.
The consolidated work in each of these institutions was carried out by members of the Caracas Mayor’s Office, the Popular Power Solutions Brigades (Brisopp) and the Municipal Superintendency of Administration and Collection (Sumar).
Workers from these entities attached to the Caracas Mayor’s Office were in charge of rehabilitating each of these spaces with the application of paint on facades, construction of parks, among other actions, to provide safety and comfort to the children and their teachers.
