Caracas opens April 13 square in Fort Tiuna

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Melendez, inspected the works of the new April 13 square, in the vicinity of Fort Tiuna, to verify the works that are erected there in honor of the 20 years of the Popular Victory against the right-wing fascist coup in 2002.

“Twenty years ago, the people gathered outside Fort Tiuna, clamoring for the presence of Commander Hugo Chávez and to remember that historic moment, we built the Plaza 13 de Abril,” the Caracas mayor published on her social network account. @perfect management.

The new square recalls the loyalty of women and men from the humble people, who in civic-military union, raised their voices and showed their chests before the coup plotters of the right, where they managed to rescue President Hugo Chávez and rescued Bolivarian democracy.
