Through Operation Caracas smiles, more than five thousand people were served in a social day in Macarao, an individual and family approach. Through the fourth transformation (T4), “peace for social protection and the development of the human being”, two thousand 700 favored were counted, while in the economic transformation (T1), “consolidate and expand economic peace with growth and social equity”, three thousand 204 attentions were recorded; This was reported by the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez.
During the activity, the allocation of eight containers for the Macarao parish was announced, manufactured by integral workers and warehouses. “This action responds to commitments acquired within the framework of the Assembly of Operation Caracas smiles, with the aim of strengthening waste management and promoting urban order in the area,” said the mayor through her Instagram account.
He also indicated that the Macarao Integral Diagnostic Center will be delivered completely rehabilitated in the next few days. Subsequently, work will begin at the center of the Autonomous Service of Pharmaceutical Developments (SEFAR), as part of the recovery agenda of essential spaces for community care.
The mayor stressed that these facilities represent a fundamental axis for public health in Macarao. “Operation Caracas smiles is aimed at transforming key infrastructure, with direct impact on the quality of life of the population.”
The day is part of a comprehensive strategy that articulates institutional efforts to guarantee social rights, improve living conditions and consolidate collective well -being in Caracas parishes.
