Caracas and Rome III sign twinning agreement for cultural exchanges

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, who leads the Venezuelan delegation to the Vatican, reported that a twinning agreement was signed between the Libertador municipality and the Roma III municipality, where the president of this town, Paolo Emilio Marchionne, was present.

In that sense, Meléndez indicated that this cooperation was carried out in order to strengthen bilateral relations and “to share experiences, cultural exchanges, in addition to all the history that exists here.”

This signing coincides with the reopening of the Simón Bolívar Park in the Monte Sacro of this city, where in the name of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, these significant and historical events were carried out.

On the other hand, he indicated that they plan to have an audience with Pope Leo XIV to bring the truth of Venezuela, “a Venezuela in peace, a Venezuela of love and faith.”

For her part, the Minister of Popular Power for Women and Gender Equality, Yelitze Santaella, highlighted the participation of the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela in the canonization ceremonies of Dr. José Gregorio Hernández and Mother Carmen Rendiles. “The Orchestra demonstrates, once again, that Venezuela forges its peace before the world.”

Likewise, the Minister of Popular Power for National Commerce, Luis Villegas, urged to maintain the fight for the freedom of Simón Bolívar’s homeland against the hegemonic powers that try to attack Venezuela.

Villegas added that the participation of the boys and girls of the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela is crucial, since they bring the truth of the Bolivarian nation to the world.
