Caracas and Niamey celebrate 20 years of relations

On the occasion of commemorating 20 years of bilateral relations, established on October 8, the foreign ministers of Venezuela, Yván Gil, and Niger, Yaou Sangaré Bakary, held yesterday in Caracas, an encounter aimed at strengthening diplomatic ties and strategic cooperation between the two countries.

“On this visit, we reaffirm the unity of our nations, legacy of Commander Hugo Chávez and consolidated by President Maduro, under the principles of south-south integration,” Gil said.

Last week, on the high -level day of the United Nations General Assembly, in New York, both foreign ministers held a bilateral meeting in which the foundations laid for a solid, lasting and great impact relationship for the future of integrative nations.

Prior to the Board in the Yellow House, Sangaré Bakary, placed a floral offering in honor of El Libertador.

In two decades, relations between the two nations have been characterized by mutual respect, the defense of sovereignty and cooperation in multilateral forums.
