Petrocaribe

We did not join this project at the time, but we were able to see how it benefited neighboring nations, allowing them to invest in social and capital projects and use those resources in favorable areas of the population.”
He recalled that in recent years “prices have increased to astronomical levels and although they have fallen, however, they may rise again due to the reduction that has been announced, it is in this sense, his efforts (President Nicolás Maduro) to strengthen Petrocaribe it will be welcomed by the entire region, including Barbados.”
He argued that “the sanctions have prevented us from participating in this project as expected by the countries of the eastern and southern Caribbean”, which is why he trusted that it should be seen “how we can work cooperatively and I hope that we will continue the discussions on this matter ”.
