Three Carabineros officials filed this day a complaint for frustrated homicide against the people who are responsible for the attacks they received last Friday as part of the march called by the Confederation of Secondary Students (Confech).
Patricio Gomez, Carmen Figueroa and Leonard Quezadaare the ones who present the complaint against their aggressors, and in turn seek to punish those who participated as accessories or accomplices in the attack suffered in downtown Santiago.

This fact marked the news agenda on Friday, since it was Quezada himself who, upon being overtaken by his aggressors, used his service weapon, injuring a person who was at the scene.
The police officer indicated that his life was in danger when he was beaten in the heart of Santiago, and also stated that the assailants took away his retractable baton and his cap.
“The situation was very difficult because I felt affected in my physical integrity. I sincerely thought that I was going to lose my life. I have relatives waiting for me at home, so that’s the first thing that comes to mind,” said the official.
“I was with two more colleagues, but I couldn’t see them because between fifteen or twenty people were attacking me on the ground, so that’s why it crossed my mind that I had to get out of there,” he said.
