The company Parxin will have a quota of up to 450 places to hire car attendants in the paid parking system. From total informality, they will have IPS and minimum wage.
Vicente Gómez, from the Car Care Association, reported that so far they only spoke with the head of the Civil Cabinet of the Municipality of Asunción, Federico Mora, but not with the representative of Parxin, Pedro Brítos.
“We have an agreement with Federico’s word, minimum wage, IPS and eight hours of work,” said Gómez in an interview with Universo-Nación Media radio.
Asked about the functions that they will fulfill, considering that whoever has the application will be able to carry out the procedures independently, he spoke about some control and instruction tasks, such as: checking that they do not park on or outside the line, helping people and take care of the vehicles.

However, Federico Mora, from the Municipality of Asunción, reported that those hired will rather be in charge of assisting those who do not opt for the digital route for the process.
The sitters will primarily serve people who do not use the app or who need assistance recording their start and end times. “Those who use the app can do everything independently, but not everyone uses it, so the car attendants can use the one they don’t have or don’t understand,” Mora said.
