A woman was arrested in Zulia after it was detected that she was allegedly in negotiations to sell her son, according to military sources.

This procedure was carried out by agents of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) South of Lake Maracaibo, Zulia.

These officials received a complaint against Franchesca Stefany Pirela Bustamante, mother of a child, said the informant.

Upon receiving the complaint, the agents went to the El Tubo sector, Colón municipality (San Carlos del Zulia) and arrested Pirela Bustamante.

To investigate the denounced fact, the officials seized the detainee’s cell phone. When emptying her, they detected that the woman was conducting negotiations to market her son for a sum in dollars.

In the chat that the woman held, it was specified that the eventual buyers were in Barquisimeto (Lara), where Franchesca intended to travel. After her arrest, she was handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for human trafficking among other crimes.

The Cicpc recently arrested three women in San Félix (Bolívar) who had set up a strategy to sell a five-day-old baby. Among the detainees is Yannylyn Coromoto Rojas Tablante (19), mother of the newborn in the Uyapar hospital, located in Puerto Ordaz.
