Captured for raping a girl

A 59-year-old man was arrested after being accused of allegedly sexually abusing a 12-year-old girl.

The capture of the fifty-year-old, who was identified as Orangel Emiro Segovia Lara, was carried out by officers of the Maracaibo Police, Zulia state.

According to the police report, the incident occurred in the San Jacinto residential area of ​​the capital of Zulia.

Upon learning what had happened, the young girl’s mother went to the Polimaracaibo police station, located in Plaza Ziruma, to report the alleged aggressor.

After learning of the situation, officers assigned to the Canine Patrol Unit went to the aggressor’s house, located in sidewalk 2 of sector 16, in the San Jacinto de Maracaibo urbanization.

After being arrested, Segovia Lara was placed under guard at the Northeast Police Coordination Center, and was placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
