Agents of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) arrested a woman accused of murdering a teenager, an incident that occurred in March 2018 in Barquisimeto, Lara state.
The detainee was identified as Delia Rosa Pérez Garcés (La Gata), 31 years old, who was captured near the Social Security in the capital of Lara, reported the Polinacional.
This person has been wanted since March 2018 by the 1st Criminal Court of Barquisimeto, headed by Marjorie Pargas, according to file KP01-P-2018-006548 for the crime of qualified homicide for ignoble reasons.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Pérez Garcés caused the death of a 16-year-old adolescent who suffered from delayed psychomotor development, whom he attacked with a firearm on a public street in Barquisimeto, where they were queuing to buy food at a supermarket.
After being arrested, the woman was handed over to the 16th Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry in charge of lawyer Michael Daniel Amaro Lucena.
Another person wanted for homicide was captured during a procedure carried out by Cicpc officers in the San José sector, Caracas.
The detainee was registered as Esteban Marcano, 34 years old, who is required to appear before the 15th State Court for Trial of the Criminal Judicial Circuit of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas.
