In 2014, a scandal occurred that shook public opinion in Colombia, when the alleged existence of a prostitution ring within the National Police, which was called the ‘fellowship of the ring‘.
In the midst of that scandal, the name of the Captain Anyelo Palacios was made public, given that the then police officer was the protagonist of a leaked video in which he had an intimate conversation with a high-ranking state official. The images were recorded in 2008.

Now, Palacios’s complaints were decisive in generating a romp in the Police given that even the then director of the Police, General Rodolfo Palomino, left his position.
The truth is that Palacios’s life took a complete turn due to this situation. Several years have passed since this scandal and Palacios had to look for alternatives to survive, since for this he was disqualified for 12 years.
After that fact, Palacios has worked in a cigarette shop, has been the target of threats and even thought about committing suicide. However, he found in music a motivation to keep going.
Although it seems unusual, especially coming from a former police officer, Palacios decided to venture into the world of guaracha, competing with Yina Calderón and Marcela Reyes.
