The elected deputy reported that among the proposals he will present when the new National Assembly is installed is a salary law to defend the interests of Venezuelans.
Former governor Henrique Capriles Radonski questioned that Vice President Delcy Rodríguez, whom he limited himself to calling the person responsible for Maduro’s economic issues, is lying to the country by saying that economic growth was 8.71% for the third quarter of the year, among other data given by the official this Tuesday the 11th.
«Did you grow economically? “Did that reach your house?” Capriles asked during a live broadcast this Wednesday, November 12, in which he spoke about the country’s economic and political crisis.
He pointed out that people on the street do not talk about military exercises or summits, but about the economic crisis, a situation that affects not only the popular sectors, but also the people who live in urbanizations.
He questioned that the Maduro administration always tries to remove responsibility for what happens in the country. In his opinion, the officials of the Maduro administration “live in a bubble, they live isolated.”
«What is the meaning of all this, why do they continue to lie with the economic figures. Maybe they don’t realize what’s happening on the street. “They believe that a tense calm means resignation, conformity, support for the government…this government is indefensible.”
Capriles Radonski highlighted that in one week the bolivar was devalued by more than 3% and assured that in any country in the world this would have caused a scandal and the resignation of the economy minister.
«In this country, no one wants to have bolivars because ordinary Venezuelans, not the elites, but the ordinary person feels that the next day their situation is worse. They have not been able to and cannot stop the devaluation,” he assured.
The elected deputy reported that among the proposals he will present when the new National Assembly is installed is a salary law. “If the power wants to deny it, that’s up to them, but I will take it to the Assembly in the next period because it is about defending the interests of Venezuelans.”
Capriles pointed out that the “propaganda apparatus” through Venezolana de Televisión is responsible for showing a Venezuela that is not the one in which all Venezuelans live.
The politician once again urged to seek a political solution to the country’s crisis. “The solution in Venezuela is not military, it is political and we politicians have to find a solution,” he said, referring to the deployment of the United States in the Caribbean and the incorporation of the largest aircraft carrier in the world into the operation against drug trafficking cartels.
«Is Maduro’s diplomacy not going to seek a negotiation to solve the country’s crisis. What is going to happen… an armed conflict, who falls into an armed conflict… the assholes, those who use, those who put in the front line… we have time to avoid this situation.
