The city of São Paulo reported, this Friday (1st), that the municipality received 170,753 doses of the dengue vaccine, Qdenga, from the Ministry of Health and that it will resume the application of the first dose of the vaccine this Saturday (2) , in young people aged 10 to 14 years. The second dose continues to be administered normally in the city.
According to the city hall, people interested in getting immunized should go to one of the city’s basic health units (UBS), between 7am and 7pm, from Monday to Friday, or on Saturdays, at the Integrated Outpatient Medical Care units. (AMAs/UBS), at the same time, with photo identification and a legal guardian.
The vaccination campaign against dengue in the capital of São Paulo began in April and, since then, 186 thousand children and adolescents aged 10 to 14 have been vaccinated with the first dose.
