The Panamanian Chamber of Information Technology, Innovation and Telecommunications (CAPATEC), in a press conference, announced details of its annual technology event Disrupt It 2024, which this year will address a very current topic such as “Artificial Intelligence.”
Dany Yaker, President of CAPATEC, said that Disrupt It continues to be the most important and reference event of the union at a national and international level that seeks to provide a space for dialogue and timely information on present and future technology that directly impacts the ecosystem. digital and the country’s competitiveness.
Like every year, Disrupt It 2024, which will take place on October 29, from 3:00 pm to 6:30 pm, at the Hotel Riu, will feature three outstanding conferences, namely: “Trends and the future of AI”, with a presentation by Glenn Tjon; “Metaverse AI & Digital Communication”, with Sergio Méndez; and “How AI disrupts our daily lives” with Dr. Ludivina Facundo.
The event will also feature two panels of experts, the first will address the topic: “How to implement AI in the business world” and the second will analyze the topic: “AI Governance.”
The agenda will also include a Fireside Chat with the theme “Startups harnessing the power of AI”, and will conclude with the traditional networking of experts, entrepreneurs, public sector representatives, academics and students.
On the other hand, it was reported that the event will also have an “AI DEMO ZONE” exhibition area in which the latest in artificial intelligence in Panama and other innovations will be presented.
