This Thursday, September 1, the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC) inaugurated the CAPAC Expo Habitat 2022 fair, which will run until September 4.
The president of the construction union, Carlos Allen, stressed that this is the most important fair in the construction industry in Central America and the Caribbean, which is projected as one of the great contributions to the material, social and economic growth of Panama.
“I have no doubt that CAPAC Expo Habitat 2022 will emerge as successful as ever,” Allen stressed, because the fairs organized by the Panamanian Chamber of Construction “constitute an invaluable service for its member companies, for the construction industry and for the country’s economy,” he said.
During the inauguration, the Vice President of the Republic and Minister of the Presidency, José Gabriel Carrizo Jaén, announced that the National Government has decided to extend for an additional period of 24 months, the amount of real estate investment to qualify for the Permanent Resident Qualified Investor program, that is, from 300 thousand balboas, in order to continue strengthening the construction sector.
Carrizo Jaén explained that this Qualified Investor Permanent Resident program has managed to attract more than 100 certified investments for an amount of 55 million balboas and among the largest certified investors are the citizens of Peru, Colombia and Canada.
This year, in the thirty-fifth version of the fair, the first version of CAPAC Decor will be developed, a new project that will surely arouse the interest of visitors, as it includes the latest trends in design, lifestyle and environmental visualizations that will serve of reference for the adequacy of their future homes.
