With awards, promotions and decorations to its workers, the National Telephone Company of Venezuela (Cantv) celebrated its 93rd anniversary in an act held in the Ríos Reyna hall of the Teresa Carreño Theater in Caracas.
At the event, more than 930 workers who completed between five and 50 years of experience in the company were honored, but at the national level there are a total of 1,642 men and women who are recognized for their commitment to guarantee access to telecommunications to the country. 616 cantevistas were also promoted to the immediate superior position.
The president of Cantv, M/G Jesús Aldana, thanked each and every one of the employees who every day carry out their work with love, dedication, commitment, honesty and responsibility despite the Unilateral Coercive Measures imposed against the country. “You are responsible for the success of this company.”
“Telecommunications are the transversal axis for development. All development goes through telecommunications, through the Internet, through telephony, every activity that the country develops has to do with Cantv; Today we have to recognize the work that all of you do, even in the worst situations and conditions to which we have been subjected, ”he said.
In this way, Cantv recognizes the effort and dedication of the members of the Blue Force who travel the country every day to guarantee the population access to telecommunications services, the institution said through social networks.
