The National Limited Telephone Company of Venezuela (cantv), inaugurated a Next Generation Node (NGN) in the Mamera sector of Caracas, in order to improve telephone and internet services to users of this populous community located in the Antímano parish.
The activation of the transmission medium benefits more than a thousand residential and commercial subscribers, reported a press release from the AVN portal.
The start-up of the equipment was headed by the mayoress of Caracas, A/J Carmen Melendez; the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernandez and the president of the state-owned telecommunications company, M/G Jesus Aldana.
During the activity, Meléndez congratulated the work carried out by the Cantv Blue Force, which is still deployed in the 22 parishes of the capital.
Likewise, he recognized the important level of organization of Popular Power in the construction of solutions for his community.
For his part, the head of the Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, stated that this is one more achievement of the revolution, that despite the coercive and unilateral sanctions against the country, it was possible to provide the inhabitants of this sector with telecommunications services. quality.
The president of Cantv, M/G Jesús Aldana, highlighted that the technical and specialized personnel had the active participation of the spokespersons of the Technical Telecommunications Board (MTT) Guzmán Blanco, whom he requested to maintain the protection and safeguarding of the installed equipment.
Neighbors of the sector expressed their gratitude for the improvement of Cantv services in the town. In the same way, they ratified their commitment to continue working together with the company in the optimization of services throughout the parish.
In this way, the third line of work is fulfilled for this 2023, instructed by President Nicolás Maduro to give Popular Power a greater participation, through joint actions between the community and State institutions.
