Candy Chen warns that there may be saturation of the system for collecting signatures on revocation of mandate

Candy Chen, co-sponsor of the “Citizen Law” bill, which seeks to implement citizen participation in the Municipal Councils, expressed that what is sought is that citizens can participate in the Municipal Councils without asking for courtesy at all times and eliminate that bureaucratic process.

“The course is that it has already been declared viable, the adoption of the Municipal Affairs Commission of the National Assembly is expected,” he said.

Chen also commented on the revocation of the mandate of the mayor of Panama, José Luis Fábrega, and the collection of signatures that begins this Wednesday, adding that the only obstacle that may exist is the saturation of the Electoral Tribunal agents authenticating the people who are going to sign. or that the system can be saturated.
