A few weeks ago, two figures from the Realizing Goals (RM) party, former deputy Mariela Jiménez, a candidate for the Women’s Secretariat, and Oliver Dawkins, a candidate for the Youth Secretariat, announced that they will challenge the results of the internal elections for alleged irregularities. in the proclamation.
Both Jiménez and Dawkins have claimed that there were anomalies and inconsistencies in RM’s internal electoral process.
According to Dawkins, in polling stations where there was no vote, “magically, minutes come out in which a percentage of votes greater than 100 or 200 are entered as if the other list won them.”
He added that they are demanding and requesting partial elections, so that the more than 25,000 co-partisans who could not go out to vote, who were inside those tables that did not open, manage to go out and vote.
Jiménez and Dawkins have scheduled a press conference for this Monday, at 11:00 am, where they will announce, with documentation, the irregularities committed by the National Elections Commission and the party’s Scrutiny Board.
