A vibrant game that barely two minutes later, Canada opened the scoring with a score by Alphonso Davies who headed it to 1-0 but the Croats, despite the early goal, played a very open game looking to create dangerous plays that borne fruit with a goal by Andrej Kramaric at minute 36′, after the goal the Canadians experienced moments of lack of concentration that was taken advantage of by Marko Livaja who, one minute from the end of the first half, scored the second goal for the Europeans to turn the score around and take the lead in the game.

The second half was very offensive with both teams looking to score, but the goalkeepers made impressive saves, both Dominik Livakovic for Croatia and Milan Borjan excelled to prevent his frame from falling, but at minute 70′ Kramaric appeared again, receiving a Ivan Perisic’s perfect cross looked for space and scored the third for the Croats. In the final minutes when the Canadians were desperately trying to discount, defender Miller made a mistake by letting go of a ball that was used by Lovro Majer for the fourth and final score in the Croatian victory.

With this result in Group F, the leader is Croatia with 4 points and a better goal difference than Morocco, which also has 4 units, Belgium has 3 points and Canada, already eliminated, has no points. In the last day of this group, Morocco faces Canada and Belgium faces Croatia.
