As of tomorrow, the new prices of gasoline 93 and Petropar type III diesel will apply, after the reduction of G. 800 and G. 1,000, respectively, which had been announced by the authorities days ago.

This Monday, March 21, the new costs of 93-octane gasoline and type III diesel supplied at Petropar stations come into effect.

In the case of “Oikoite” Nafta, it will suffer a decrease of G. 800, starting tomorrow to cost G. 6,910 per liter. For its part, the Diesel “Porâ” will have a drop of G. 1,000, which will cost G. 6,050.

The aforementioned prices will be available in the entire network of service stations of the state oil company, distributed in different points of the national territory.

The president of Petropar, Denis Lichi, during the announcement made on Friday afternoon, confirmed that his own stations located in Villa Elisa, Mauricio José Troche, Paraguayan Air Force, Ñu Guasu, San Juan and Ayolas will begin to serve 24 hours a day, way to facilitate fuel loading for customers.

Likewise, he reiterated that the institution has sufficient capacity to supply citizens, thus ruling out suffering a shortage in the event of a massive demand for fuel with this reduction.

Petropar’s decision to lower the prices of 93-octane gasoline and type III diesel came after demonstrations organized throughout the country by truckers and transport workers, who protested all week against the rise in fuel through road closures.
