Positive songs, which were sung one after the other, and that innate empathy when establishing a dialogue with the public from the stage, marked Camilo’s first time in Bolivia.
“This is officially my first time in Bolivia and I hope it will be the first of many. Although it seems that they came to see us, I have the suspicion that we came to see you”, said the Colombian artist to his tribe, as he has baptized that great legion of fans that he has been reaping since he began his career.
The place chosen for the meeting with that tribe was last night, at Sonilum Arena, in front of nearly 10,000 people, most of them children and adolescents who at no time hid their emotion at having their favorite artist in front of them.
The show, which is part of his tour entitled De dentro pa’ afuera, of Camilo Tour 2023, had everything. From the accompaniment of four musicians, who precisely followed the singer on a stage with a visual setting overloaded with bright colors, to the presence of his wife Evaluna.
Together with his partner, he performed three songs. Initially, Machu Picchu and For the First Time and, almost at the end, Índigo, the theme inspired by her little girl who came into the world a year ago and that she also came to Bolivia with her parents.
They also did not lack Rich Life, Expensive Clothes, TuTu, Pegao and Baby. The artist took time to reflect on the motivations of young people in these times and urged the boys present to be authentic without depending on “a certain number of likes that they tell us we have to have, or seeing ourselves as someone else and dressing like someone further”.
Camilo received a Bolivian flag that was given to him and he said he felt very grateful for all the expressions of affection he received since he stepped foot on this ground. The Colombian artist turns 29 this Thursday the 16th, therefore, the public did not miss the opportunity to sing Happy Birthday to him.
This show was part of a work by the Lola Group and CDM Producciones, which had the artists Lu De la Tower and Luis Gamarra from Santa Cruz as opening acts. The latter performed the last performance of his artistic career under that name before embarking on a new project.
Girls were a large majority among the fans present.
