After a fire broke out, in the early hours of today, in City Mall David, the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Agriculture and Tourism of Chiriquí (CAMCHI), expressed its solidarity and deep regret, at this fact.
The union expressed that this fire leaves millions in economic losses and direct effects on employees such as unemployment, in response to this they reiterated the call “to the National Government to provide the Benemérito Fire Department with the necessary tools and correct the damage due to the lack of hydrants and low water pressure, which once again prevented the red shirts, despite their quick action, from carrying out an effective work to control the incident.
As a business organization, they asked the corresponding entities for the necessary assistance so that those affected can “reopen their doors in the short term and thus continue offering quality and service to the Chiriqui population.”
