José Luis Camacho, the father of the governor of Santa Cruz Luis Fernando Camacho, will testify this morning at 10:00 in the Santa Cruz Prosecutor’s Office as a defendant in the Golpe I case. The accusation is based on a video in which the current governor of Santa Cruz pointed out that his father “arranged” with the military and police so that they would not support Morales during the 21-day crisis, after the electoral fraud of 2019, which would have derived , according to the accusation of former MAS deputy Lidia Patty, in the configuration of a coup.

The Committee for Santa Cruz issued a statement of support for José Luis Camacho and Luis Fernando Camacho, both former presidents of the entity.
