A new arson attack was recorded during this day in the region of La Araucanía, specifically on the route between Los Sauces and Traiguén.
Specifically, one of the Organs of Territorial Resistance (ORT) belonging to the Coordinadora Arauco Malleco (CAM) damaged a tractor that they would use to block traffic along the route, making it impossible for Carabineros personnel to advance to the scene.

The chief general of the 9th police zone, Manuel Cifuentesstated in Cooperative Radio that there were five subjects who acted in the event “by applying some accelerating liquid, making this machine combust”.
It also reported that “the Public Ministry was informed at the appropriate time and ordered that the specialized agencies of the Carabineros de Chile, in this case the Criminalistics Laboratory and the OS-9 department, take charge of this investigation.”
On the adjudication of the fact, the police officer pointed out that “according to monitoring of social networks, we have established that an organization associated with the CAM would be claiming the fact.”
There are no injuries after this arson attack.
