For a case of attempted murder opened last year, the president of the Committee for Santa Cruz, Rómulo Calvo, was summoned to testify on Monday, November 22, at 11:00, by the Santa Cruz Departmental Prosecutor’s Office.

Cuéllar then indicated that the complaint was made because Calvo allegedly made a call to unblock the roads by force, which caused 26 people who participated in the pressure measure to be injured when lifting the blockade point.
Deputy Cuéllar said that there is evidence that the people who came to unblock were sent by Calvo and Salces.
“There were 37 gunshot wounds, some still have the bullets in their body. We have evidence that among those who attacked there were people from the Cruceñista Youth Union, even one of them who was caught confessed that Calvo had sent them,” he said. The complainant.
Calvo had already been denounced before for this fact and his guilt could not be proven.
