Calvo before CNN justifies why there was no dialogue: "It is necessary to stop the invasion of people who are not from the place and that causes anxiety"

In an interview with Fernando Del Rincón on his Conclusions program, Rómulo Calvo, president of the Committee for Santa Cruz, stated that before sitting down in a technical table is necessary for the detainees of La Guardia to be released, the cessation of the “invasion of people who are not from the place and that generates anxiety”.

Hours before, the presidential spokesman, Jorge Richter, and the Minister of Planning, Sergio Cusicanqui, had announced that this Friday the technical table that defines the date of the census will be installed.

Calvo stated that, in addition to defining the date of the census during 2023, the council of September 30 established that the results must be delivered within 120-180 days, since with them the redistribution of economic resources must be organized, parliamentary seats and a new biometric registry for the next national elections.

He stressed that the Interinstitutional Committee for the Promotion of the Census in 2023 has the way of technically demonstrating that this consultation can be carried out next year.

The civic reiterated the complaint he made in the afternoon, about the violence that arose in the department, about the “Biased Police”, which defends those related to the Government, “people who come paid with the promise of giving them land in the Bolivian East,” he said that these facts are what limited the dialogue.

On the other hand, he referred to the struggles between the ministers, who do not agree on the census; In his opinion, they are looking for their own benefit and do not think about the population.
