Working abroad is one of the recurring dreams of many Colombians who feel that there are better conditions there to achieve economic, social and professional stability. Because of this, it is common to find offers in the market that help them achieve this goal, taking advantage of the fact that there are countries where there is a shortage of labor and Professionals from other nations are required to fill the gap.
This is the case of the Public Employment Service, which this week announced the launch of version 4.3 of its ‘Project Team’ program, with which it is currently seeking professionals in early childhood education who want to live and work in the old continent, taking advantage of the offers they promote together with entities such as the Sena.

“Team, which stands for Specialized Colombian Workers for Germany, aims to make it easier for Colombians to work formally in Germany as qualified professionals in the defined areas,” explained the Public Employment Service.
The organizers of this call explained that this Public Employment Service project is being supported by actors such as the German Federal Employment Agency, the Goethe Language Institute and, for Colombia, providers APE SENA and the Compensar Employment Agency.

“The ZAV is the Central Office for International Intermediation of the Bundesagentur “The Für Arbeit of the BA (German Federal Employment Agency) will be in charge of the project for the selection and migration of workers in Germany. This selection and placement project promises transparency in the selection of qualified personnel, as well as a realistic management of what it is like to live and work in Germany,” they said.
It is worth noting that participants will learn German from 0 to level B2, will receive advice on homologation, visa, integration, family reunification, etc. and will also receive a scholarship during the German course in Colombia, an open-ended contract in mostly public German companies and weekly work hours of 38 to 40 hours.

“This process will be financed by the seven German children’s centers that request the staff and includes; the virtual course to learn the language, the scholarship during the course, translation of documents, homologation fees, the purchase of plane tickets, will help to obtain their first home, as well as excursions and integration events,” they explained at the SPE.
The destination will be the city of Heidelberg, located in the southeast, known as the oldest university city in Germany, with at least 38,000 students and charming architecture.
The call is open from August 15, 2024 and will remain open until on September 8, 2024, and all those who are interested can register through the Sena Public Employment Agency, on its website or through the Compensar Employment Agency, where they can also request advice.
