Call center workers achieved an increase of 22.9 percent

Call center workers will receive a 22.9% salary increase in two consecutive tranches starting in February.

The Argentine Federation of Commerce and Services Employees (Faecys) and the Argentine Chamber of Contact Centers closed a salary review of 22.9%, in two tranches, and remunerationfor workers included in the collective labor agreement of the Call Center branch.

The agreement, whose details were known this Friday, was reached by the general secretary of Faecys, Armando Cavallieri, who in a statement stressed that “the basic remunerations of the CCT 781/20 on the current scales of the Agreement are increased by 22.9% in two remuneration tranches”.

The head of the commercial union explained that 13% of the total agreed, calculated on the basic salaries of the conventional scales and the agreed non-remunerative amounts in force corresponding to the month of December 2022, “It will be granted from the month of February 2023”.

He also indicated that “the remaining 9.9% -which is calculated on the basic salaries of the conventional scales and the non-remunerative amounts corresponding to the month of February 2023- It will be effective from March 2023″.

The workers of the activity framed in categories 3 and 4, known as Operations A and B and whose conventional working day is 36 hours per week, They will also collect the $24,000 bonus established in Decree 841/22 in full and with the salary caps established in the presidential decree, the statement recalled.

At the end of the signature, Cavalieri pointed out that “This agreement aims to provide a framework of tranquility and better purchasing power to each of the employees who perform an activity that years ago was devoid of rights and agreement updates”.
