The Social Welfare Institute reported that the services will not be affected by the holiday decreed by the Executive Power, thus guaranteeing care for patients.
Through a circular released this Friday IPS Health Management confirmed that all services in the health area they will continue toe normal way both today and tomorrow December 24th.
In this sense, it is clear that none of the services provided by the IPS will be affected by the holiday decreed by the Presidency of the Republic for the benefit of public officials.

This clarification is made taking into account that all services belonging to the health area are considered essentialpoint that was listed as one of the exceptions of the executive order.

Medical assistance and administrative activities will be normal on Saturday, December 24 and 31 in all health establishments, refers to the document signed by Dr. Jorge Batista, IPS Health Manager.

Already for the Sunday sessionnational holiday for the Christmas, hospital care will be diminishedforeseeing contingency equipment and care in the emergency area for exceptional situations.
