The new fuel price structure in Colombia came into effect today, after the update defined by the Energy and Gas Regulation Commission (Creg). The measure sets the reference values for regular motor gasoline and ACPM in 13 of the country’s main cities, reflecting differences associated with logistical and regional factors.

In general terms, the adjustment leaves a clear picture: the price of gasoline remains above 16,000 pesos per gallon in most capitals, while diesel averages close to 11,000 pesos. According to the national consolidated, the average value of gasoline in the 13 cities is $16,057, and that of the ACPM is $10,984 per gallon.

Among the cities with the highest gasoline values is Villavicencio, where the gallon is located at $16,591, followed by Cali ($16,502), Bogotá ($16,491) and Manizales ($16,466). In the coffee region, Pereira registers $16,439, while Medellín reaches $16,412 per gallon.
In other capitals, prices remain slightly below those peaks. Ibagué marks $16,407, Montería $16,333, Bucaramanga $16,248, Barranquilla $16,126 and Cartagena $16,083, consolidating a high range but with moderate variations between regions.
Regarding the ACPM, the highest values are concentrated in Cali, where the gallon reaches $11,424, followed by Villavicencio ($11,376), Pereira ($11,363) and Manizales ($11,349). In Medellín, diesel was $11,301, while in Bogotá it was set at $11,276.
The lowest prices of both fuels are recorded in the southwest and the border. Pasto presents a gasoline price of $14,247 and ACPM of $10,338, while Cúcuta reports the lowest values on the list, with $14,400 in gasoline and $9,032 in diesel. With this update, the country begins the new period with a pricing scheme that maintains regional gaps and a high impact on the cost of living and transportation.
