The candidate for President of the Republic, Euclides Acevedo, exploded with fury against those who accuse him of subtracting votes from the Concertación. He clarified that he is not functional to anyone and described himself as a serious person.
“I AM NOT GOING TO SUBTRACT VOTES, I’M GOING TO WIN! I’m not functional to anyone, people are going to vote for us, because we are different and we say no! to political hypocrisy, ”Euclides Acevedo wrote on his Twitter account.
Did in response to the endless criticism against him, for allegedly subtracting votes from the Alegre-Núñez duowho will represent the Coalition in the next general elections.
“That of what, voIf you have to be here because or else you’re functional to the Colorado Party, it’s stupid, I always said that I am going to win with Colorado votes and also with Liberals. I was never part of the Concertación, how am I going to subtract votes from it?” Acevedo wondered.

He urged all “honest Paraguayans” to seek real change, regardless of the ideology of the candidates.
It was described as “a serious guy” and clarified that he is not financed by any sector, because neither he nor Jorge Querey have a price.
The general elections will be next April 30. The presidential plates that compete are: Santiago Peña-Pedro Alliana, Efraín Alegre-Soledad Núñez and Euclides Acevedo-Jorge Querey, among the main candidates.
Figures such as José Luis Chilavert and former Paraguayan senator Cubas also appear, with less media noise.
