Caixa will anticipate installments of truck driver and taxi driver aid

Caixa Econômica Federal brought forward the dates of the November and December installments of the Truck Driver and Taxi Driver aid. The November installment will be paid on the 19th. The December installment will be paid on the 10th.

Originally, benefits would be paid on November 26 and December 17. Paid yesterday (18), the October installment was also anticipated. The initial calendar provided for the payment of this month’s installment only next Saturday (22).

Created by the constitutional amendment that created emergency state because of the high price of fuel, the Truck Driver and Taxi assistance will be paid until December. The amendment increased social benefits and instituted emergency aid until the end of the year.

With the new dates, the deadline for truck drivers to send the self-declaration was also brought forward. The deadline for sending data to anyone who wants to receive the November installment has moved from the 14th to the 7th of the same month. For the December installment, the date moved from December 5th to November 28th.

At Auxílio Caminhoneiro, the government prepared a portal for drivers to apply for the benefit. Since August 15, autonomous cargo carriers (TAC) can make the Self-Declaration of the Registration Term to receive the BEm Caminhoneiro-TAC. Those who missed the deadline in the previous months can send the data until November 7 to be entitled to the benefit, but they will only receive the fifth and sixth installments. Those who submit by November 28 will only receive the last installment.

Self-declaration can be made through the Emprega Brasil Portal or through the Digital Work Card application. After this period, truck drivers will only be entitled to receive the benefit from the month in which the data was sent, provided that the other legal requirements are met.

At Auxílio Taxista, the registration of self-employed professionals is solely the responsibility of the municipalities, which send the data to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. It is enough for the permit holder to have the registration regularized at the city hall (or at the Federal District government, in the case of the federal capital) by May 31.

who is entitled

Autonomous cargo carriers registered in the National Registry of Road Cargo Transporters (RNTR-C) of the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) until May 31 of this year will be entitled to the benefit. Professionals must have a valid National Driver’s License (CNH) and CPF, among other requirements.

Also called the Benefício Emergencial Caminhoneiro (BEm-Caminhoneiro), the aid will be paid to each autonomous carrier, regardless of the number of vehicles they have. The payment of the BEm-Caminhoneiro will be reviewed monthly. For the next batches of payment, ANTT will forward to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security the list of autonomous cargo carriers that are in the “active” situation in the RNTR-C.

Taxi Assistance

Taxi drivers registered with city halls, holders of concessions or permits issued by May 31, are entitled to the benefit. No action by taxi drivers will be required. In case of doubt, the driver should contact the city hall to verify the municipal register. The provision of information will be entirely up to the city halls or the Government of the Federal District.
