“Caixa, attentive to market movements and exercising its social and leadership role in the segment, made available for 2022 a budget higher than the previous year, with the objective of meeting the demands of the sector”, says the bank, in a note.

In the first quarter of 2022, contracts with savings funds (SBPE) reached R$ 21.4 billion, an increase of 31.2% compared to the same period in 2021. In relation to the first quarter of 2018, the increase is of 817.4%, according to the bank.

Last week, the federal government announced that the subsidy for financing properties of the Casa Verde Amarela Program, aimed at low-income families, will be increased in percentages ranging from 12.5% ​​to 21.4%. The increase varies according to region, family income and population of the municipality.

According to the Ministry of Regional Development (MDR), the objective of increasing the subsidy is to facilitate the acquisition of a home and increase the number of homes delivered. The measure takes effect in early June and runs until December 31, 2022.
