Caixa Econômica Federal pays Thursday (24) the April installment of the new Bolsa Familia to beneficiaries with social registration number (NIS) of end 6.
The minimum amount corresponds to R $ 600, but with the new additional the average value of the benefit rises to R $ 668.73. The beneficiaries of 659 cities received payment on the 15th, regardless of NIS. The measure benefited residents of Rio Grande do Sul, affected by floods from April to June, and from six more states, affected by rain or drought. In addition to all 497 gaucho municipalities, the unified payment occurred in 169 cities of Piauí, 12 of São Paulo, 10 of Paraná, six from Roraima, three from Amazonas and two from Rio de Janeiro.

Since last year, Bolsa Familia beneficiaries have no longer have the discount of the defense insurance. The change was established by Law 14.601/2023which rescued the Bolsa Familia (PBF) program. Defense insurance is paid to people who survive exclusively from artisanal fishing and cannot perform the activity during the piracema period (fish reproduction).
Protection rule
