Caixa lowers interest rate for real estate financing

Banks resume public service this Wednesday afternoon

Caixa Econômica Federal announced today (24) that it will reduce by 0.15 percentage point the interest rate on real estate credit in the savings modality. With the reduction, the new rates are based on the Referential Rate (TR) + 2.80% per year, added to the remuneration on savings. According to the bank, hiring with reduced rates will begin on March 28.Caixa lowers interest rate for real estate financing

Line of credit for PwD

The bank also informed that it launched a line of credit for the renovation and adaptation of its own properties intended for People with Disabilities (PwD), under the Casa Verde e Amarela program. The new line will also start operating on March 28 and will offer credit with funds from the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS).

The credit will be made available to those with a gross monthly income of up to R$3,000 and the credit limit will be up to R$50,000, limited to 80% of the work budget presented. The term for payment of the financing will be 240 months.

The bank also informed that, as of April 12, the new conditions for financing will apply to families with incomes between R$ 2,000.01 and R$ 2,400.00 from the Casa Verde Amarela Program, among them are: interest rate of 0.5 percentage point on housing finance; and the increase in subsidies for the acquisition and construction of housing, which increases the purchasing power of families.
