“The Export Plan that we developed from the Foreign Ministry, with 1,084 promotional actions, which include missions, participation in fairs and business rounds, is showing its results: this year is going to be a record for exports both in value and in quantities”, Cafiero highlighted in a statement from the Foreign Ministry.

“The prospects are very good, because we are achieving a virtuous process of exports, promoting the strategic sectors of our country, and the metallurgical sector is one of them“, I consider.
In this sense, Cafiero highlighted “the importance of obtaining dollars through exports in order to finance growth, but at the same time that the sectors become more technical and use the scientific-technological framework that allows them to lower costs, have design centers and that allows them in their own production process to reduce imports”.
The owner of the Palacio San Martín and the directors of the entity discussed the commercial promotion that is being developed, and the results obtained for the sector in commercial missions.
Likewise, Adimra will participate in September and October in new business missions and trade fairs in Brazil, Australia, Germany, Ecuador and Colombia.
For its part, Orlando Castani of Admira, said that “We can improve our export dynamics since we have exported US$7.5 billion a decade ago in high value-added goods and in various items”.
In that same sense, it was also highlighted at the meeting that the metalworking sector exported a total of US$3,298 million in 2021, and during the first seven months of 2022 it increased sales abroad by 10% year-on-year.
