The president of Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), Sergio Díaz Granados, expressed his support for Colombia and Venezuela before the reestablishment of relations in the commercial aspect that will promote the growth of economic activity in the region.
Díaz Granados stressed that “current times represent new challenges and dynamics, which also translates into new opportunities that we at CAF want to support decisively”, referring to businessmen from Venezuela and Colombia.
“We are certain that, if we work in an articulated manner, our impact can be greater, which is why we welcome this initiative where Colombia and Venezuela point to the strengthening of their territories (and) to business development through concrete actions and the search for innovative mechanisms”, explained the president of the organization.
CAF expects that over the next few years there is a 300% increase in the formal exchange of all products that circulate on the border between Colombia and Venezuela and that will be added to other aspects such as tourism.
