In the first conclusion, Valencia-Dongo mentioned the type of leadership that is required to trigger urgency, unity and action, referring to the dialogue between the president of Confiep, Óscar Caipo, and his counterpart from the CGTP, Luis Villanueva, who will send to the Government bill initiative for health reform.

In the third reflection, he spoke about the new generations that exude a sense of urgency, unity and action, but that at the same time give hope and work on financial inclusion and technological development, social inclusion, education, sustainable businesses, environmental protection, among others. others in or with the support of the private sector.

Valencia-Dongo in the fourth reflection commented on the hopes at risk.
“Our society and the future of Peru is at risk for three reasons: populism, polarization and post-truth”, explaining that populism drives away investment, weakens state capacity and corrodes institutions.
He indicated that polarization not only divides us but also makes us deny the other, and lastly, post-truth is a very dark fog that does not allow us to look forward.
“The promoters of populism, polarization and post-truth are those who want to seize power by force or perpetuate themselves in it; we must face it, we must protect our democracy and recover public debate as a beneficial practice for Peruvians”, stressed the businessman.

Finally, he called for action to act against hunger and anemia.
He highlighted the relevance of the contribution of the Private Competitiveness Council, which prepared more than 30 concrete and actionable proposals on the three pillars: private investment, efficient State and solid institutions.
He called on businessmen to read and discuss the agreements so that the proposals become a reality.
