The recent Ipsos survey commissioned by CADE 2025 shows that the perception that executives have about Peru’s progress has improved in relation to the idea of stagnation or regression.

In the ‘Radiography of the Country’, a summary of the perceptions of the executives surveyed in different areas, it is detailed that the perception that the country is going backwards, which reached its peak in 2022, has been reduced to 32% and the perception of progress has risen to 30%.

However, crime and citizen insecurity top the list of concerns that executives have regarding the main problems that still affect the country.

Other important figures from this ‘Radiography of the Country’ show that advances in infrastructure and private investment are considered the main advances. However, the fight against corruption and crime have been left aside by governments, as they are considered the main setbacks.

Within the country’s institutions, the Central Reserve Bank of Peru (BCRP) stands out as the most reliable among executives due to its successful work in the country’s monetary policies. They are followed by SBS, Sunat and Indecopi in this trust ranking.
