Santo Domingo.- The service in the Santo Domingo Cable Car was restored this afternoon, after a technical failure that forced the authorities to suspend the service this Tuesday morning, in the section between the Gualey sector and Los Cerros, in Sabana Loss.

“We inform that the service has been restored and the Cable Car is working normally,” reported the Office for the Reorganization of Transport (Opret).

A source from the Cable Car reported that “technicians from the institution corrected the problem, after several hours trying to solve the problem.”

The failure occurred around 10:00 in the morning, according to passengers consulted, who reported that they lasted more than an hour in the air, due to the failure of the transportation system.
