SMALL MOUTH.-At least 50 works of different categories will be built in the different neighborhoods and sectors of Andrés and Boca Chica, for resources contributed by the company that generates AES Dominican Energy, announcement in municipal mayor.
The engineer Fermin Brito Rincon gave the information when proceeding to deliver to local engineers and contractors, checks for 11 million pesos, for the construction of the first eleven works, including the construction of two libraries.
He stated that a tourism school, to favor hundreds of young people of both sexes interested in the hotel industry, as well as centers for holding events, sports fields, street repair and construction, among others.
Engineer Brito Rincón assured that he will make a first contribution of 50 million pesos for the ambitious construction project of around 55 works of social interest throughout the municipality of Boca Chica and surrounding areas.
He indicated that the 11 million pesos delivered this Saturday to engineers and contractors during a ceremony in the meeting room of the Chapter House, corresponding to 20 percent of the first item for the construction of the first 11 works.
“Something important that we must highlight is that all the engineers who will work on the construction of the different works in the various neighborhoods and sectors, are natives and reside in our municipality who met all the required requirements,” said Mayor Fermín Brito Rincón .
He stressed that the company AES Dominicana is one of the institutions that has been making the most contributions in favor of the tourism, social and economic development of the municipality of Boca Chica, what many consider as the number one tourist destination in the country.
The agronomist Héctor Pena López, representative of CODIA in the municipality of Boca Chica, and Juan Ramón Gran, representing the Dominican AES, also spoke at the event.
