The deputy of Cabildo Abierto Martín Sodano, requested an extension of the work period in the special commission of deputies that analyzes the pension reform, to study more deeply the impact of the project sent by the Executive Power.
Sodano also explained that there are delegations that agreed to send the responses in writing and have not yet done so, and for these “they are important inputs.”
For the lobbyist deputy, it is necessary to evaluate the time that the discussion of the articles of the law takes.
For his part, Deputy Juan Martín Rodríguez of the National Party assured that he will not support the proposed extension.
“Cabildo Abierto has made a significant number of proposals, not only in the Chamber of Deputies, it also did so before, many were incorporated in the Senate, others are being studied,” Rodríguez said and assured that there is a will to consensus.
“We trust that the next few days will be decisive. The forthcoming appearance of the Executive Branch to the commission will be key,” Rodríguez added.
