“Juanito Alimaña (adjective with which he refers to Juan Guaidó) convinced me in part, 33%, because this one who is here wants free elections; that there be elections free of sanctions, blockades, persecution, free elections of thieves who stole Monomeros, Citgo, free elections, that imperialism does not put its claws in Venezuela”.
This was expressed this Wednesday by the first vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello during his program Con el Mazo Dando, where he dismissed the statements by spokesmen for the opposition extremist sector that pointed out alleged government commitments.
“A partial second agreement was signed in Mexico and they came here talking about a number of things that were not discussed there or talked about at all,” he said, recalling that dialogue with opposition sectors has been a policy promoted by the President Nicolas Maduro.
“We must emphasize and emphasize that this dialogue that exists right now has been publicly requested by President Nicolás Maduro at least a thousand times; in chains, in acts, in private in meetings with them, with delegates that US imperialism has sent here for the country, dialogue is the ideal communication”, he stressed.
The Constitution triumphed
Cabello considered it a victory that the extremist sector of the Venezuelan opposition had been “forced to sit down” to negotiate with the Venezuelan government and that they recognized the Constitution.
“We celebrate that a sector of the opposition forced him to sit down, why? First, because they recognize our Constitution even though you know that they are the same ones who participated in the coup d’état on April 11, who participated in the coup d’état on April 30 when they left for Altamira, who are the same ones who participated in the frustrating assassination attempt against President Nicolás Maduro, who are behind the invasion by Macuto, they are the same, they have not changed at all, but hey, they are sitting there who now want elections,” he said.
He noted that after the agreement reached in Mexico “we hope that they comply and the money that is there for the attention of important sectors of Venezuela such as health, education, electricity, the issue of attention to disasters, food, which That money appears, it is not that now they start ‘not this, let’s see’, no, because that is signed”.
“It’s up to them to comply now,” he insisted.
Chevron owes Venezuela
The also head of the parliamentary faction of the revolutionary forces grouped in the Bloque de la Patria, referred to the recent announcement made by the Chevron company and questioned the assertions made by opposition sectors that Venezuela must pay the US company.
“They (opponents) say: ‘they are going to pay the debt they have to Chevron.’ Chevron owes us because they left Venezuela and harmed our country with signed production contracts, and we had signed supply contracts with several nations and we were left bad because they left suddenly,” he explained and emphasized that “if they arrive to come they will have to pay what they owe us ».
